The digital maps which we offer depend on specific programs which have developed their own formats. With the purchase of a digital map, you purchase a license only for this program.
Converting this format is not permitted (see the terms and conditions page).
So far the following programs / formats are available:
There are many other programs, but most have not developed their own format and use raster formats such as jpg, tif, gif, png, bmp, etc..
For these programs, we can not provide the map for copyright reasons.
To find out if one of these programs can be installed on your device, then go to the manufacturing websites.
These programs are called moving map programs for digital raster maps. There are other Moving Map programs on the market, but they often do not use a program's own format, rather, "open" formats such as bmp, jpg, gif, png, ... We are sorry, but such open formats can not be publish for copyright reasons.
If you use another program which uses it's own format, then you can ask us.
The above programs are the most common Moving Map programs and can be installed on different devices.
The device is therefore unimportant, what matters is the operating system.
     
Programm: oziexplorer

 Oziexplorer runs on Windows machines- that is quite normal PC's. However, there is also a OziExplorerCE version, which can be installed on different handsets. It requires a Windows operating system for Pocket PC, or PDA.
- PocketPC - PC2000 (CE version 3.0+)
- PocketPC - PC2002 (CE version 3.0+)
- PocketPC - (Windows Mobile 2003) PC2003 (CE version 4.2+)
- PocketPC - Windows Mobile 5
- PocketPC - Windows Mobile 6 Classic and Professional. WM6 Standard (for phones with small non-touch screens is not supported)
- Handhelds / PNA's / PND's - HPC 2000 (CE version 3.0+) and CE.net core versions 4 and 5
ARM , MIPS , SH3 , SH4 , and Intel PXA2xx cpu's (Xscale) are supported for all platforms where applicable.

Fugawi is available for the PC and PDA handheld devices (Windows and Palm)
Fugawi PDA Edition for Pocket PC has been designed to work on devices using the following operating systems:

- Windows® Mobile 5 Pocket PC, Phone Edition
Fugawi PDA Edition for Palm has been designed to work on devices using the following operating systems:
- Palm OS Version 5.x
- Palm OS Version 3.5x and Version 4.x are supported by a previous version of Fugawi PDA Edition for Palm, supplied on the Fugawi Install CD.
Fugawi iMap works on iPhone. Fugawi iMap brings topo maps to your iPhone. It is great for hikers, boaters, anglers, educators, or anyone going off-road and into the back country. |

Runs on Windows PC (including netbooks), various handheld devices such as PDAs, smartphones and portable navigation devices to very many.
- An easy installation allows you to use GPS-Mate on your mobile device.
- In addition to the map function, GPS-Mate also allows one to track where they have been, manage the route that is provided, and import and export routes.
- The location search function also allows one to find locations on topographic projections.
