The digital maps which we offer depend on specific programs which have developed their own formats. With the purchase of a digital map, you purchase a license only for this program.
Converting this format is not permitted (see the terms and conditions page).

So far the following programs / formats are available:

There are many other programs, but most have not developed their own format and use raster formats such as jpg, tif, gif, png, bmp, etc..
For these programs, we can not provide the map for copyright reasons.

To find out if one of these programs can be installed on your device, then go to the manufacturing websites.
These programs are called moving map programs for digital raster maps. There are other Moving Map programs on the market, but they often do not use a program's own format, rather, "open" formats such as bmp, jpg, gif, png, ... We are sorry, but such open formats can not be publish for copyright reasons.

Our maps are available in specific formats and are committed to various programs. No matter what device you use, it must be installed with one of these programs.

Thes programs are called MovingMap (interactive) programs for digital raster maps. There are other MovingMap programs on the market, but they often do not use a program's own format, but "open" formats such as bmp, jpg, gif, png, ... We are sorry, but such open formats can not be publish on copyright reasons. If you use another program, wich use a own format, then you can ask us.

The above programs are the most common MovingMap (interactive) programs and can be installed on different devices.
The device is therefore unimportant, what matters is the operating system.

Here again are the ordering process in short form, because we have always questions.

1. Select a product.
2. Select your program format. <-- important
3. Put the items into the basket.
4. Enter your data and check your mail address again.
5. Choose your method of payment.
6. You will receive mail with our bank account information and order number. Please write the order number on the bank tranfer.
7. When the money is received, we send the maps to your mail address. Saturday and Sunday we do not work. If your mail address can not receive the datasize, we send several packages. We zipp the file with www.winrar.de
8. The e-mail attachment is password protected. You will need your order number to open it.
9. Prepayment on our german bank account takes about 3-6 days, depending on the bank and your country. Paypal usually only 24 hours.

Digital articles with MapShop are dispatched by Mail after cashtransfer on a German account to the customer.
Supply of digital articles by Mail is possible world-wide. A supply of not digital products, like prints or CD-ROM, is only possible within Germany.

The dispatch for all articles is free.

Digital articles are dispatched by mail attachment. The RKH maps have a datasize up to 20MB. Please ask your provider if they can receive such a datasize. If not, make a notice in your order. The mailattachement in zipped with www.winrar.de and can be split into smaller files.

Before you order a special file format, get information about the programs like oziexplorer, ttqv, gps-mate, ...
